After months of teasing, Blaqbonez finally unveiled his Mr Boombastic alter persona with last month’s single, “Shut Up”. Prior to the single, the 100 Crowns rapper revealed he was working on a new project centred around the newly debuted character. True to his word, he’s just shared a definite release date for a new EP, as well as its tracklist.

For those who’ve followed me over the years, they’ve been witness to a constant evolution of my sound, and i just shed my skin yet again. I already gave you Shut Up and now….

Titled after his meta-persona, ‘Mr Boombastic’ is set to drop next Friday, October 25, and it will contain 7 songs. “Shut Up” serves as the lead single, while Falz and Blackmagic will make guest appearances on the project. ‘Mr Boombastic’ will be Blaqbonez’s second project of this year, following the February release of ‘Bad Boy Blaq: Re-Up’.
