Just days after announcing his signing with Virgin EMI Records, Timi Dakolo shared the album titled single for his upcoming album, ‘Merry Christmas, Darling’. The album is scheduled to premiere on the 22nd of November, however, the emotive performance on the single captures the holiday spirit so poignantly, it feels ready-made for a big movie montage.

The orchestra-tinged production paired with velvety vocals from Timi Dakolo and guest artist, Emeli Sande, summons listeners to lean into their Christmas spirit while also exploring their romantic feelings. The back and forth of their holiday-themed lyrics seem to imitate the exchange of passionate letters between lovers.
