Nigerian-UK based artist Kida Kudz has teamed up with Burna Boy and UK’s Geko for the remix of his earlier released single, “Issa Vibe”. The remix strips “Issa Vibe” of all its cringest derogatory lines so that all that is left of Kida Kudz’ original is tame sexual lyrics and euphonious lines honouring the end of the week “It’s been a long week mi haffi fly away”. 

Burna boy and Geko fill the sparseness, complementing Kida Kudz toned-down lines by weaving bawdy lyrics into the piano and drum combo instrumentals. Along with the suggestive lyrics, Burna illustrates the life of a man of his pedigree, “Cuz its a mad ting when i arrive, cameras flash when i hop out the ride”, while Geko focuses on what the gathering is about: partying with your best buds on a Friday night.
