Slimcase’s vibrant vocals and unending stream of hilarious expressions brought him to popularity amongst Nigerian music listeners and artists. The eccentric artist has collaborated with a long list of prominent acts such as Wizkid, Mr Eazi, D’banj and more, however, he went the solo route with his latest single, “Lambaxtra”.

He’s now just released an accompanying video for “Lambaxtra”, which is built around Slimcase’s lively persona, as well as the song’s party ready sensibilities. At the start of the Akin Alabi-directed video, three people put on virtual reality goggles to enter Slimcase’s Lamba club, where majority of the video takes place. In the VR universe, we see Slimcase perform his set with vigour, in the company of models, as well as with local percussionists who mimic the hypnotic dance beat Cracker Mallo produced.
