A-Q releases cinematic music video for his “The PVC Story”: Watch
A gripping story on our socio-political climate
A gripping story on our socio-political climate
Just weeks after releasing Crown, his joint project with Loose Kaynon, A-Q is going back to his solo catalog with the release of the music video for his previously released “The PVC Story”. Most rappers take front and center in their music videos, especially on introspective songs delivered in first person narrative, but the short film 19-year-old film maker, Nora Awolowo, directs for “The PVC Story” casts actors to mime to A-Q’s lyrics.
While A-Q narrates his vividly rich tale, talking about socio-political issues like terrible government policies, political apathy, depression, drug abuse, rape, political injustice and Nigeria’s security issues, the video depicts his story with rising actors, Abdul Tijani-Ahmed, Mimi Ula and rapper, Wave tha Kid. A-Q’s absence from the video makes the story even more gripping.
