Though Aramide is singing about her lover being magic, it’s her voice and aura over persistent guitar licks that enchants. Singing “Iwo l’adun mi, you are the sweetest thing”, she expresses her feelings as magic, warmly enough to melt hearts, whether they’re in love or not. Bash’em preemptively directs a clean and simple video for “Magic”, depicting only the beautiful singer showing off her pipes. Distractions with a cameo from the object of the affection would’ve been unnecessary and thankfully, it was left out. Instead, we get to watch Aramide have a lot of fun within bright colourful settings.
