In the FP Visions directed video for “Poison”, Lady Donli and her lover are in a relationship of extremes. The scenes that interlude their good times—laying together in bed, sitting in sunflower and rose farms and hanging around their home—are filled with figurative and literal symbolism for anxiety and discomfort felt in shared spaces. Lady Donli is upset at her lover for treating her like a fool. The words “I am no fool” are in flames over a blurry backdrop, and in the scene that follows shortly after, she’s standing behind him with, holding a yellow scarf around his neck, contemplating hurting him.
