After attracting mainstream attention with her viral hit single “Omo To Sexy” released in 2025, fans of Afropop singer, songwriter, and rapper BLNDE have patiently been anticipating new releases from the artist. Following the track’s success, she scored a remix with veteran Popstar, Tiwa Savage, and released another single, “UPGRADE,” early this year to keep her newfound momentum going, while actively teasing her upcoming body of work. 

After months of running a faux presidential campaign with the tagline “Vote for me?”  BLNDE’s debut studio album, ‘BLNDE FOR PRESIDENT’ has arrived. The 7-track project is the perfect response to fans who have been waiting to see what more the artist has to offer. It sticks to the familiar theme of the singles that had come before it, imbued with self-praise and bouncy, danceable beats. The album opens  with “VIP,” where she proclaims herself  the “most influential”, echoing similar sentiments expressed on her 2023 debut single, “S.B.B.” 

On “CHAUFFEUR” she converts the coordination of her movement from location to location and the kind of energy she brings into a room into alluring music. The following tracks, “MISS ME,” and “RINGA” continue to lean well into the confident persona that BLNDE embodies in all of her music. The tail end of the project  comprises her previously released singles including  the sexy, IT-girl anthem, “OMO TO SEXY,” and the revving “UPGRADE,” where she sings about her money-centric lifestyle and the unbreakable bond she has with luxury. 

Throughout the17-minutes runtime of  ‘BLNDE FOR PRESIDENT,’ BLNDE stays true to the poised, unfettered style of music that propelled her to popularity and that recognisable cadence that she maintains on the album will certainly appeal to fans who have been clamouring for more music.
