Milli’s new single, “It’s a Good Life” is a reflective song of triumph

It touches on some of his recent setback

Though originally introduced as a rapper, Milli has proven he won’t hesitate to sing his ass off if he feels the need to. Combined with his honest-as-hell lyrics, he has the ability to make you feel like he’s reading straight from your heart. And as the “It’s a Good Life” title of his latest single suggests, he’s self-aware enough to celebrate his life while acknowledging his grievances and disappointments. Singing “I Cannot Complain, I’ve Been Through The Pain/ Diamonds on My Chain/ I Hope it Never Changes” over the beat set to a similar bounce as Drake’s “God’s Plan”, his realization has the power to make you feel invincible. On “It’s a Good Life”, Milli touches on some of the setbacks he has been through and seems set on focusing on the positives alone.
