Kobilou has teamed up with Airbrid for a new project titled ‘D’BADDE$T IN THI$ BITCH.’ It’s his third official project following 2024’s four-track collaborative EP with Mavo, ‘Kobilou Kilobizzy,’ and the more recent ‘Pretty Girls Love Lou.’ For Airbrid, it’s a first body of work that builds on his production credits on standout Mavo cuts like “Shooting Star” and “Feel Nice.”

Both Kilogbede Records signees have enjoyed a productive year. While Kobilou’s profile has risen through his solo releases and collaborations, it’s his standout verse on the viral “GLACIER GIRL” earlier in the year that marked a breakthrough. Airbrid, meanwhile, has continued to work closely with Mavo, producing songs like “Business” and the recently released “Goyard.”

‘D’BADDE$T IN THI$ BITCH’  brings their respective strengths into sharper focus. First teased with the lead single “PAY ME” in July, the six-track project pairs Airbrid’s buoyant, mid-tempo production with Kobilou’s loose, melodic delivery. Guitar riffs, horn sections, and skittering percussion add texture to the beats, while Kobilou rides the instrumentals with his characteristically laid-back delivery and playful shifts in cadence.

scottyolorin is the project’s sole guest, featuring on “8 FIGURE$.” He brings his distinctive melodic sensibility to a concise project that expands Kobilou and Airbrid’s repertoires and strengthens their positions within the country’s vibrant underground scene.
