Patoranking sets the music video for “Open Fire” in an eccentric universe

The Busiswa-assisted song gets a colourful set of visuals

For his ambitious sophomore album, ‘Wilmer’, Patoranking collaborated with an extensive list of artists, from various nationalities. He has since shared the video for titular song, “Wilmer”, featuring Georgian singer Bera, and now two months later, he’s opted to share the video for “Open Fire”, his collaboration with South African House singer Busiswa.

Set in an eccentric universe, the video for “Open Fire” is a collage of quirky, colourful outfits and energetic dance moves. Accompanied by dancers, who perform freestyle and choreographed routines to the fast-paced Sarz-produced beat, Patoranking and Busiswa mime their club-driven lyrics in an open road, while a street drummer is also seen banging his drum set, embellishing the song’s primary dance elements.
